The following pictures had been submitted, via email, some time back by Mr Anil Chudasama. The recent news of the passing away of Musomians did not make it conducive to post the pictures.
Mr Anil Chudasama, will obviously know, the places and location in Musoma where these pictures have been taken. Maybe fellow Musomians can chip in and share their memories of Musoma of old and how it looks today.
Last week MusomaBlog promised some group pictures from way back. These pictures will create a lot interest among Musomians. It is hoped that our community, spread across all the corners of this world, will join forces and make these pictures even more interesting by naming or identifying the people in the pictures. It would also be appreciated by many Musomians, if various stories, anecdotes, memories surrounding these pictures are shared.
MusomaBlog requests all Musomians to share any information on the following pictures, submitted by Mr Vikram Thind with the help of Mr Pritpal Sandhu. Information such as, year the picture(s) were taken, events surrounding the pictures, and of course, identifying the people in the pictures.
Without further ado, here are the pictures:

Musomablog has received some pictures from way back, which should make for some interesting conversation and discussion. These particular photos - donated by Mr Thind were kindly submitted to MusomaBlog by Mr Pritpal Sandhu, via email. Besides these photos, Musomablog has some recent pictures of Musoma, taken during his recent visit by Mr Anil Chudasama. Last, but not least, Musomablog has also received a set of pictures all the way from Musoma. These are pictures submitted by the owner of Matvilla Hotel. I am sure Musomians who plan to visit Musoma in the near future will find these of interest.
While searching for current news on Tanzania, I came across a wonderful short video on Tanzania. Tanzania - well named as the ‘Authentic Africa’. The clip has been produced by the Tanzania Tourist Board in conjuction with BBC and other major institutions and made in Belgium.
My words will not do any justice to the quality of this production, so I shall just let you sit back and enjoy the clip. Just click the [>] button and away you go to Tanzania: Authentic Africa!!
This is a humorous and satirical view at attempt to solve Africa’s problems. ‘Why dont we sell to the Western world, what we dont produce?’
I believe this a clip from a radio show in Africa taking satirical fun at current events. The conversation appears to be between two heads of state - from the accents - probably West African states. Irrespective of the geographical location, the conversation is humorous.
