Fatmabai Nurdin Jiwani, popularly known as Fatmaben, passed away peacefully on 17th October 2012 in Toronto after a brief illness.

Very sad news indeed.
Jiwani family were our Rao Family’s wonderful neighbours in Musoma when my late father sold his original Building(1945) to Hussein Bharwani in 1955/1956 and moved into Alibhai Masasi’s building on rent until Jan 1959 when we moved to the new Emporium Building.
During these years we shared great amicable neighbourhoods and friendly ties too. Our heartfelt condolsences to the Jiwani family for the demise of Late Fatimaben(Late NoordinChand’s beloved wife) and prayers to GOD to rest her soul in eternal peace and bliss. May HE grant strength to the family members to bear this untimely tragic death. Part of GOD’s will.

Fatma masi was a great an polite person. Very affectionate and welcoming.
My family and I had the privilege of spending a few days with her and family
when we were in Toronto some 3 years back.
She was a believer in all faiths and infact gave my wife a sum to donate to Jalaram Mandir, when we stayed with her !
