Which place is this?

Came up with this picture from the MusomaBlog photo collections.

Can you identify this location? More importantly do you know of interesting stories and anecdotes surrounding this location?

How nice to see this photo of rear Jamatkhana. Brings back sweet memories of Musoma days where in the company of my friends Late Murad,,Sadru Esmail Jamal, and Mirza, Abdul, Late ND and Hassan and others we had the pleasure of enjoying great feasts especially on KUSHIALLI occassions and in return my friends used to pay us return visits over Navratri too.

The Jamatkhana had a huge compound stretching down to shores of Mara Bay-Lake Victoria where we spent a lot of time. Must appreciate our fellow Musomian, who took efforts to take this picture.

My father’s Timber Shed (Yard) was right opposite corner. Can someone send me that picture please. On the other corner was Musoma Garage and right opposite to Timber Yard was Musaa Jamal’s house and then Mussa Jiwan’s house – a place where Popatlal used to be DJ in musical nights?

Finally MUSOMA snowball has started rolling!

Please also read some information shared by Mr Diamond Esmail, about how the Jamatkhana was built: http://musomablog.com/2007/03/29/musoma-jamatkhana-a-brief-history/
