“It is with sad heart we have to inform that Dolatkhanu Kassam Bhanji Adatia, popularly known as Dolu Teacher, has passed away after a short illness. (In Dar Es Salaam, on January 16, 2010)
Dolu Teacher has shaped and influenced the lives of many Musomians, both as a teacher and private tutor, and also as a friend and colleague. After leaving Aga Khan Primary School, she joined the bank in Musoma and later went to Dar-es-Salaam.
She will be fondly remembered and may Allah rest her soul in eternal peace.”

Please accept our condolences on the sad news of the demise of Dolu Teacher I remember my days at
Agakhan primary school where she taught and in Moshi where she was assisting me at my bottling plant in the mid 1980′s. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Our deepest condolences to Dolu teacher’s family. She was a very courageous lady , and touched the lives of many children in Musoma, including mine. She lived an examplary and full life. I was very fortunate to meet her again at the Musoma Reunion in London. She was still full of zest and had a very positive outlook to life.

Dolu teacher or most popularly known as Doluben was our neighbour in Musoma for several years and there is no doubt at all that she was a most wonderful person. She will really be missed by many Musomanians.May her soul rest in eternal peace. AMEN
