Sad demise of Sardarni Ishar Kaur Alg – wife of Sardar Pratap Singh Alg | Sept 12, 2008

Dear Musomians

We wish to inform all our Musoma colleagues, that our dear mother Sardarni Ishar Kaur Alg, wife of late Sardar Partap Singh Alg (Court Broker-Musoma) sadly left for heavenly abode peacefully in her sleep on 12 September. 

The contact number for brothers Mohinderjit and Ranbir is 020 8542 6249.

Sehaj Paat (intermittent recital of Guru Granth Sahib) has been arranged at our residence at 92 Queens Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8LS since 12 September and will continue until Friday 19 September.

The Cremation will take place on Saturday, 20 September.

The programme is as below:

10:00am - Arrive at 92 Queens Rd., Wimbledon, London SW19 8LS   (02085426249).

11:00am - Arrive Sikh Gurdwara South London, 142 Merton Rd., Southfields, London SW18 5SP.  

12:30pm - Leave Gurdwara for Putney Vale Crematorium, Stag Lane, Putney SW15 3DZ.

1:00 – 1:30pm – Cremation 

1:30 – 1.45pm – Departure for  Central Gurdwara, 62 Queensdale Road, Shepherds Bush,  London W11.

2:30-3:00pm  - Refreshments at Central Gurdwara

3:00 – 5:00pm – Kirtan; Ardaas 

5pm onwards – Guru Ka Langar

    Your mother has been our closest neighbour in Musoma and we will allways remeber her for her affection,love and very helpful nature.
    We met her LAST November during Anil’s daughter’s weeding in London.
    We pray to Allmighty to give you both and your families courage to face the loss of your beloved mother and to be determined in facing the future without her.

    We are sad to read the shocking news of the departure of your mother for heavenly abode. Call it fate and destiny.

    We all recently met (sorry to say, for the last time with Mataji) at Arvind Patel family wedding and we spent hours together and also bid goodbye while we were both driving away in our cars.

    She looked so happy and cheerful and we never dreamt she would leave is so suddenly. Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family and we will always remember her for her everlasting smile kindness and love.

    May GOD bless her soul with eternal peace and grant you strength to bear this unbearable loss.
