Very sad to learn one more Musomian passed away.
Our deepest condolences to the immediate family and also prayers to GOD to bless her soul with eternal peace.
I am trying to refresh my memory (Iam now 66), could Fatima Nanji kindly let us know whether the deceased Zerabai (known as Zera) is the daughter of Late G Z Kassam and sister of Zinni and Abu(Abdul)?
Zera was six seven years elder than me and we cherish lots of memories of Musoma with both the Rao and Zeena families.
How long was she in DAR?

The Zerabai Mr. Rao is talking about passed away 7 or 8 years ago. She was the daughter of Gulamhussein Zina and she used to run the “Sweetheart Cafe.”
The Zerabai who passed away recently is the wife of Late Hussein Bhanji and they used to own a mill, the family moved to Dar es salam some years ago.
Moez Essa Kassam.

Thanks to all of you for your condolence messages. I am her daughter who lives in Edmonton. Was browsing thru the website and read all the comments. Thank you for your kind words.
In response to Mr. Rao’s comments and I would like to add Moez Kassam’s comments, she was the daughter of Moloo Bhimji of Tabora and was married to my father Husssein bhanji who owned a Posh Mill on Kawawa Road in Musoma, house no. 13. Hope this will refresh your memory. The barley flour was also processed at our mill.
Thanks
Mina Hussein Bhanji
