Hasanali Bus Service, Staff Group Photo
Posted by adminmusoma on August 15, 2006
I had just mentioned to Dr Manjul Vasant, that it would be nice to get some pictures of Musoma, when he next travels there, which, I gather, is in the very near future. He then very kindly sent across a whole set of pictures. Some recent. Some from way back. All of them I thoroughly enjoyed looking at. I will be posting them on this blog shortly. For now, I will try and post pictures which may be found of interest and could be a reason for long chats and long walks down memory lane.
I am sure there will be a group of people amongst the Musomians that can recount the whole day’s events when this particular photograph was taken!

Like in the previous picture, I would request all Musomians to share, via comments or email, if that is easier, whatever memories they have of this picture and connected with this picture. Do you know the names of the people in this picture? Do you know where they are now?

Nice picture if i am not mistaken the little girl is Rosy? Married to Murad Musa Jamal?
Also the other Ismaili Gentleman standing at the back worked for Mohamed Alibhai Sodawalla, and believe it or not, we met many times in DarEssalaam where my shop was next to Dilshaad Jivabhai Lakha(originally from Uganda). He was related to Miss Dilshaah family-will email to you dilshaad email for further information.
Photo reminds us the days when it was a oneman show. You see Uncle Hassanli with his bus and the full entourage of the staff including Chief Mechanic and, ofcourse, the drivers and the conductors.
Nice picture.
Good Musoma memories. Ball is rolling slowly but surely.
Well done Manjul and to you Rakesh and the Musoma Team.
