Swati, Daughter of Yogendra Vyas passes away: May 23, 2006

Harshadbhai Kothari has intimated us of the following sad news:

It is with regret we have to announce the sad and untimely passing away of Swati, daughter of Yogendra Vyas – (Musoma Barclays/National Bank).

Swati was only 32 and of a very good and bubbly nature.
She died due to a short illness followed by unsuccessful surgery.

Our condolences to the entire Vyas Family.

Swati’s funeral has been arranged for Sunday 28th May at 11.30 at Golders Green Crematorium, London N11.

These are the initial details of this very sad news. Till further details are available, I would call on all Musomians to join in expressing our sympathy and condolences to the Vyas and extended Vyas family

Chandrakant (CC) Rao – son of CMRao- passes away: Sunday May 14, 2006 [UPDATED: May 22]

It is with great sadness that I inform all fellow Musomians of the following sad news:

Mr Chandrakant C Rao, popularly known as CCRao, age 63, passed away at his residence in Reigate, Surrey, UK, after a short illness.


He was born August 29, 1942 in Musoma, Tanzania to the late Chotabhai M Rao (C M Rao) and Urmila Rao. Chandrakant Rao is survived by his
mother, Urmila Rao, UK/India, his wife, Martha; his daughters, Anjulie and Charissa; his son from his previous marraige, Chirag, USA; his grandson, Giovanni, USA; ; his two brothers, Jashwant (JC) Rao, UK and Suryakant (SC) Rao, UK; his three sisters, Lata (Kirit) Shah, India; Divya (Jagdish) Sharma, India and Kundan Clehane, UK. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews.As yet cremation arrangements have not been finalised, but it is expected to be within this coming week.
